Inhabitants of Lemecheli area renovate road from Elabered to their respective villages

The inhabitants of Lemecheli area, Elabered sub-zone, are engaged in renovation of the main road from Elabered to their respective villages. Stating that they have rented machinery for the implementation of the task, the inhabitants said that renovation of the road would be extended up to Bir’ona.

Elabered, 14 June 2012 – The inhabitants of Lemecheli area, Elabered sub-zone, are engaged in renovation of the main road from Elabered to their respective villages. Stating that they have rented machinery for the implementation of the task, the inhabitants said that renovation of the road would be extended up to Bir’ona.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Berhane Hadgu and Mr. Manna Bariu, commended the regional Administration’s leading role in organizing the undertaking, and indicated that active popular participation is being demonstrated in the process.

Mr. Teklesilasie Woldehawariat and Ms. Letezgi Abraham on their part voiced readiness to back up the implementation of similar development tasks.

Likewise, Ms. Ametezgi Ogbai and Ms. Letekidan Gilamichael expressed satisfaction with the availability of potable water supply, as well as educational and 24-hour electricity supply facilities.

The inhabitants further lauded the Government’s commitment to ensure such facilities in the area and expressed readiness to practice prudent use of them so as to ensure sustained social service.

Lemecheli area comprises 17 villages involving the Administrative areas of Wasdemba, Deki-Andu, Dembe-Habtetsion and Hadish-Adi.
