The Ministry of Information trained staff members in collaboration with the French media CFI in TV production and research, management of programs, preparation of the crew, examining successive TV programs and their post-feedback administration, and lighting system including that of live studio and digital video editing.

Asmara, 14 June 2012 – The Ministry of Information trained staff members in collaboration with the French media CFI in TV production and research, management of programs, preparation of the crew, examining successive TV programs and their post-feedback administration, and lighting system including that of live studio and digital video editing.

The participants of the theoretical and practical training said that it is helpful in their respective duties. Mr. Zerit Woldeyesus and Mr. Salahadin Husein explained that the course involved emphasis on the savoir faire of the duty.

Stating that the training course enabled them to have an overlook over the achievements made by the Ministry and the remaining journey towards the realization of an influential and credible media, Mr. Daniel Gebru said that acquiring up-to-date knowledge and ensuring reliable professionalism are major prerequisites in media career today.

Mr. Yosef Aregahegn and Mr. Azarias Gebreyohanes, non-linear editing and graphics experts, stated that the training course stressed group work. They further indicated that consistent endeavors by the Ministry in introducing digital instruments and human resource development have resulted in concrete positive outcome.
