Availability of electricity supply in Ashera Administrative area described springboard to improved livelihood
The inhabitants of Ashera Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, voiced conviction that the availability of electricity supply in the locality has become a springboard to improvement of their livelihood. They further pointed out that they became beneficiaries of such facility beginning in 2008. Hagaz, 15 June 2012 – The inhabitants of Ashera Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, voiced conviction that the availability of electricity supply in the locality has become a springboard to improvement of their livelihood. They further pointed out that they became beneficiaries of such facility beginning in 2008.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Mehari Medhanie and Gilia Kifl, said that the accomplishment of the task is a demonstration of an integrated endeavor by the Government and the community members.
Mr. Omar Husein Ahmed explained that electricity supply has facilitated other development tasks in the area, and called on the local inhabitants to apply popular undertaking in the renovation of roads.
Ms. Rozina Eyob, head of the health station in the locality, indicated that reliable medical service could be rendered by the institution thanks to the availability of consistent electricity supply.
Mr. Gergis Abraha, Administrator of the locality, said that the number of service businesses is on the rise following the availability of electricity supply in the locality.
Ashera village, one of the 16 Administrative area centers in Hagaz sub-zone, is located 12 Km. south-east of Hagaz semi-urban center.
