Social service-rendering institutions in Ginda town asserted that the support of citizens to the families of fallen heroes attests to their respect towards martyrs. Ginda, 16 June 2012- Social service-rendering institutions in Ginda town asserted that the support of citizens to the families of fallen heroes attests to their respect towards martyrs.

They explained that due to the fact that the Eritrean people preserved their unity and ensured respect of the nation’s sovereignty through the martyrdom of thousands of dear sons and daughters, the nation has become exemplary in which peace and development prevail.

Mr. Teame Teklai and Mr. Mahmoud Saleh underlined that the support they are providing to the martyrs families gives them moral satisfaction and that they would continue such support.

Similarly, Mr. Humed Bekri and Ms. Aster Tekle said that the peace and serenity they are enjoying were ensured through noble sacrifices and expressed resolve to support martyrs’ families.

Ms. Amna Haji-Osman, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, indicated that extending support to families of fallen heroes and orphans is a national obligation. She further noted that the support for the families of martyrs is a noble objective that gives moral satisfaction.

The local inhabitants raised about 80 thousand Nakfa towards augment the Martyrs Trust Fund, and that the fund raising would continue in all Administrative areas and government institutions.
