The families of martyrs in Massawa city expressed conviction that they enjoy feelings of warmth and dignity thanks to the support of the Eritrean people and the leadership. Massawa, 18 June 2012 – The families of martyrs in Massawa city expressed conviction that they enjoy feelings of warmth and dignity thanks to the support of the Eritrean people and the leadership.

One of the family members of the fallen heroes, Ms. Abeba Woldemariam, said that it takes serious sacrifice to ensure the nation’s sovereignty, and voiced conviction that they are living with pride, the root of which is the Eritrean people’s high regard to the fallen heroes.

Mr. Berhane Dimtsu and Ms. Shishai Gebremariam equally expressed conviction that they are duly being cared for by the people and Government of Eritrea.

Stating that the Eritrean people are at all times ready to fulfill national obligations, Ms. Amleset Berhane and Ms. Tsehainesh Beraki respectively called on the citizenry to reaffirm their pledge to honor the trust of martyrs.

“The Government is supporting us in every possible way, and Glory to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to assure the dignity of the country and the people,” stated Ms. Esha Adera.
