Anseba region: Over 20 million Nakfa paid to families of martyrs in benefit scheme

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Anseba region stated that over 20 million Nakfa has been paid in benefit scheme to families of martyrs over the past 6 months. Keren, 19 June 2012 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Anseba region stated that over 20 million Nakfa has been paid in benefit scheme to families of martyrs over the past 6 months.

Among the family members of fallen heroes, Ms. Amleset Fikak and Ms. Fatina Omar voiced conviction that they feel due pride as the country remains both dignified and in peace, and lauded the support being extended to them by the Eritrean people and their leadership.

Mr. Habte Semrai from the Administrative area of Deroq equally voiced appreciation for the people and Government of Eritrea which they demonstrated high regard to the fallen heroes through supporting their families.

Mr. Girmai Bekuretsion, head of the branch office, indicated that a number of citizens residing abroad have contributed a total of 2.4 million Nakfa to back up the Government’s benefit scheme payment.
