Popular campaign conducted at Patriots Cemetery in Emkulu as regards follow-up of the trees there

The inhabitants of the port city of Massawa carried out popular campaign on May 16 to follow-up the trees at Patriots Cemetery in Emkulu in connection with Martyrs Day. Pointing out that the Day is an event when the citizens reiterate their pledge to honor the trust of martyrs, they expressed conviction that the accomplishment of such task ensures fulfillment of conscience. Massawa, 19 June 2012 – The inhabitants of the port city of Massawa carried out popular campaign on May 16 to follow-up the trees at Patriots Cemetery in Emkulu in connection with Martyrs Day. Pointing out that the Day is an event when the citizens reiterate their pledge to honor the trust of martyrs, they expressed conviction that the accomplishment of such task ensures fulfillment of conscience.

Among the participants, Mr. Jemal Ali and Ms. Lucia Goitom, said that honoring the trust of martyrs involves shouldering the responsibility of developing the nation and safeguarding its dignity. They also voiced readiness to fulfill national obligations.

In the same vein, Ms. Guoy Kidane and Mr. Degol Kifle explained that they are as ever ready to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty.
