Prayer services conducted in connection with Martyrs Day

Prayer services were conducted today in connection with Martyrs Day at St. Michael Church and Al-Khulafa Al-Rashidin Mosque.

Asmara, 19 June 2012 – Prayer services were conducted today in connection with Martyrs Day at St. Michael Church and Al-Khulafa Al-Rashidin Mosque.

His Holiness Abune Dioskoros, 4th Patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church, as well as a number of priests and thousands of the Faithful attended the prayer service at St. Michael Church which was conducted in the morning hours.

Likewise, Sheikh Al-Amin Osman, the Eritrean Mufti, headed the Du’a prayer service conducted in the afternoon hours at Al-Khulafa Al-Rashidin Mosque in the presence of thousands of followers of the Islamic Faith.
