The Health Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone called on the local inhabitants to carry out popular campaigns as regards prevention of malaria. Dige, 23 June 2012 – The Health Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone called on the local inhabitants to carry out popular campaigns as regards prevention of malaria.

Mr. Woldeab Tesfamariam, head of the branch office, pointed out that such undertakings have been playing vital role in hindering malaria infection, and called on the inhabitants to make effective use of bed nets.

Indicating that they have registered positive outcome in malaria prevention through undertaking such campaign, Mr. Mustafa Mohammed and Mr. Saleh Osman, among the inhabitants, said that considerable accomplishments have already been made this month in eradicating drenched areas and promoting environmental hygiene in general.
