Potable water supply and educational facilities have been put in place in Mezret Administrative area, Habero sub-zone. Habero, 23 June 2012 – Potable water supply and educational facilities have been put in place in Mezret Administrative area, Habero sub-zone.
Stating that Mezret village has more than 3,000 settled inhabitants from the former villages of Koken-Barh and Gang, Mr. Mohammed Osman, Administrator of the area, explained that the community members have become beneficiaries of solar-energy-powered potable water supply and a new school. He further indicated that the community’s health has significantly improved in line with the services rendered by community health volunteers, distribution of bed nets and community sensitization activities.
Among the inhabitants, Sheikh Mohammed Ali Mahmoud and Ms. Amna Mohammed Idris, expressed satisfaction with the availability of such facilities.
