Exemplary farmer in Adi-kemene casting charisma on farmers in the area

An exemplary farmer who has been carrying out soil and water conservation activities on his own initiative in the villages of Adi-Kemene and Abi-Adi has become influential to farmers through his charisma, stated the local inhabitants. Mendefera, 25 June 2012 – An exemplary farmer who has been carrying out soil and water conservation activities on his own initiative in the villages of Adi-Kemene and Abi-Adi has become influential to farmers through his charisma, stated the local inhabitants.

One of the local farmers, Mr. Mohammed Hagos Nurhusein, asserted that Mr. Yemane Tesfazgi is a hardworking farmer, and that he has induced such zeal of hard work among them.

Likewise, Mr. Mekonen Fisehaye, soil and water conservation expert in Mendefera sub-zone, asserted that Mr. Yemane won a regional award last year for his admirable contribution in soil and water conservation.

Indicating that he has built 7 Km-long terraces on his farmland, the exemplary farmer voiced confidence that his produce is expected to register growth.
