Anseba region: Newly employed Associate Nurses attend training course

50 newly employed Associate Nurses in Anseba region attained a training course. The course involved the concepts of malaria and TB curing, technical strategies of HIV/AIDS prevention, follow-up of communicable diseases, care of psychiatric patients, prevention of non-communicable diseases and child immunization, among others. Keren, 28 June 2012 – 50 newly employed Associate Nurses in Anseba region attained a training course. The course involved the concepts of malaria and TB curing, technical strategies of HIV/AIDS prevention, follow-up of communicable diseases, care of psychiatric patients, prevention of non-communicable diseases and child immunization, among others.

Dr. Kesetebirhan Solomon, head of the Health Ministry’s branch in the region, pointed out that the Government has made considerable investment in the development of human capital in the sector, and called on the trainees to further enrich their capacity through practical exposure in their career.

Resource persons of the training course commended the active participation and performance demonstrated on the part of the trainees. Ms. Fatina Ibrahim, among the trainees, expressed conviction that the training is helpful in their career, and said that they would work hard to safeguard the health of the citizenry.

Similarly, Ms. Zeineb Omar, head of social services in Anseba region, called on the trainees to serve the people with dedication.
