3.4 million Nakfa contributed last year in honor of the trust of martyrs: Ministry

A report by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare stated that a total of 3.4 million Nakfa was contributed over the past year in honor of the trust of martyrs. It further indicated that 100,000 Nakfa, more than 6,000 dollars and 15,000 Riyal were contributed recently by different citizens inside the country and abroad. Asmara, 2 July 2012 – A report by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare stated that a total of 3.4 million Nakfa was contributed over the past year in honor of the trust of martyrs. It further indicated that 100,000 Nakfa, more than 6,000 dollars and 15,000 Riyal were contributed recently by different citizens inside the country and abroad.

Accordingly, the Eritrean communities in Qatar and Houston, US, contributed 15,025 Riyal and 6,230 dollars respectively, besides the 50,000 Nakfa contribution made by Mr. Solomon Mesfin, resident of Abu-Dhabi city. The family of the late Mr. Mehari Yihdego also extended 50,000 Nakfa as gesture of honoring the trust of martyrs.
