The association of tourism services provision institutions in the Southern Red Sea region conducted meetings in Tio, Idi and Assab aimed at strengthening their association and ensuring the provision of efficient and timely services. Assab, 1 July 2012- The association of tourism services provision institutions in the Southern Red Sea region conducted meetings in Tio, Idi and Assab aimed at strengthening their association and ensuring the provision of efficient and timely services.
In the meeting conducted in Assab, Mr. Berhane Eyasu, administrator of Assab city, called on participants to elect executive members who could work for strengthening of the association and its contribution.
Mr. Abraham Michael, chairperson of the association, on his part provided detailed explanation regarding the directives and regulations of the association and called on participants to forward ideas that would contribute to the strengthening of the activities of the association.
Ms. Yordanos Fesehatsion, representative of the head of Ministry of Tourism branch in the region, called on the elected executive members to diligently serve the association, and ensured participants that the ministry would do every thing in its capacity to assist them.
The participants elected 20 executive members at regional level.
