Inhabitants of Debarwa sub-zone renovate 10 schools through popular undertaking

Mr. Merih Kiros, head of the branch office, said that the inhabitants extended a total of 1.2 million Nakfa for the task in which they also participated though labor and skill.

Mr. Habtemariam Dimtsu, inhabitant of Shiketi village, commended the Government’s commitment in ensuring reliable educational service across the nation, and explained that they are as ever ready to back up government endeavors.

Stating that the inhabitants built additional class rooms and computer room for the school there, Mr. Biniam Andebirhan, Administrator of Shiketi Administrative area, said that construction of the school fence is underway.

Mr. Berhane Kiflom, director of the junior and elementary school in Shiketi, lauded the initiative of the local inhabitants, and voiced conviction that the upgrading of the school is a considerable element in strengthening the teaching-learning endeavors.
