Inhabitants of Northern Red Sea region express resolve to reinforce efforts for the success of development programs

The inhabitants of sub-zones of Foro, Gelalo, Massawa and Sheib, Northern Red Sea region, in a meeting they conducted expressed that conspiracies being weaved by the enemy quarters aimed at derailing the economic progress of the country would be foiled by the strong resistance of the Eritrean people. Massawa, 1 July 2012- The inhabitants of sub-zones of Foro, Gelalo, Massawa and Sheib, Northern Red Sea region, in a meeting they conducted expressed that conspiracies being weaved by the enemy quarters aimed at derailing the economic progress of the country would be foiled by the strong resistance of the Eritrean people.

They reiterated that their livelihood is improved for the basic social services provision institutions are put in place through the relentless effort of the Government and that they would reinforce their participation in water and soil conservation programs aimed at ensuring food security.

They further explained that with the coming of the rainy season they are engaged in constructing and renovating water diversion schemes and in preparing their farm land for cultivation and called for machinery assistance.
In a speech he conducted regarding the objective situation Mr. Hamed Haj, Secretary of PFDJ of the Northern Red Sea region, indicated that development programs are well progressing with the strong participation of the people and called for reinforcing resistance against all conspiracies that are aimed at derailing the economic progress of the country.

Mr. Hamed who said that the secret of the victory of the Eritrean people is its unity, recapped that the people preserve this noble culture and called for strengthening efforts for the success of development programs and assisting families of martyrs.
