He made the remarks in an interview he conducted with the state media in connection with the 5th National Youth Festival.
Indicating that Eritrea is a nation blessed with diligent and realism-oriented youths, Mr. Sultan pointed out that their role in the nation building process has become progressively substantial. He further pointed out that the nation is registering significant accomplishments in various domains thanks to the youths inside the country and abroad who are ensuring the required sacrifice.
Eritrean youths could demonstrate steadfastness against the hostile challenges directed against them for they irreplaceably cherish the all-dimensional sacrifice paid for national independence. Moreover, the nation’s bright future which has become more apparent than ever attests to their collective input, Mr. Sultan added.
The NUEYS Chairman also said that Eritrea’s history is one of remarkable generations of youth, and that it is historical as today’s generation shoulders the responsibilities of developing the nation and safeguarding its dignity.
