Haikota, 10 July 2012 – The inhabitants of Alebu Administrative area, Haikota sub-zone, said that they are in a position to witness improvement of livelihood thanks to the availability of social service facilities.
Mr. Mohammed Adem Bekit and Mr. Hajir Yasin, from the inhabitants indicated that the educational, health, transport and potable water supply facilities have visibly changed their lifestyle for the better. In the same vein, Ms. Sureya Adem and Ms. Yacob Kifle expressed satisfaction with the supply of 24-hour electricity.
Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud, Administrator of Alebu Administrative area, pointed out that the local inhabitants are beneficiaries of the fervent transport between Asmara and Tesenei, besides the job opportunities factories and businesses in the area have created.
Reports indicate that a health station, 4 potable water supply distribution stations and 24-hour electricity facility are available in the locality, in addition to 3 schools rendering service from pre-school to junior level.
