They indicated that they used to buy goods from markets in Gur’ie, Ein, Gerger, Mensura, Hagaz and Keren city, and that they are now in a position to save energy with the establishment of the new marketplace. Hagaz, 12 July 2012 – The inhabitants of Ad-Arey Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone explained that they are enjoying ample supply of goods as a new marketplace in Wenjeb is witnessing fervent business activities. They indicated that they used to buy goods from markets in Gur’ie, Ein, Gerger, Mensura, Hagaz and Keren city, and that they are now in a position to save energy with the establishment of the new marketplace.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Andetsion Woldeab, Mr. Gebregziabher Abraham and Mr. Mohammed Eman, expressed satisfaction with the supply of goods in the local market and the reasonability of their prices. They further voiced conviction that such activities are vital in fostering development of the locality.
Mr. Mohammed Saleh Humed and Mr. Tsehaye Teklit, supervisors of the marketplace in Wenjeb, said that it could meet local demand for consumer goods, besides providing a basis for many local inhabitants to augment their income.
