President calls on youths to strive for all-round national development

In a meeting he conducted today with participants of the 5th National Youth Festival in Sawa, President Isaias Afwerki called on Eritrean youths to live up to expectations as regards the accomplishment of all-round national development through coordinating their knowledge and expertise. Sawa, 13 July 2012 – In a meeting he conducted today with participants of the 5th National Youth Festival in Sawa, President Isaias Afwerki called on Eritrean youths to live up to expectations as regards the accomplishment of all-round national development through coordinating their knowledge and expertise.

He further underscored that the reward of Eritrean youths is basically the outcome of the tasks they accomplish, and stressed the need to effectively coordinate their knowledge, work and commitment so as to register still greater outcome. The President went on to underline that the youth are duty-bound to upgrade their knowledge and skills in all domains so as to achieve much more gratifying achievement.

In the course of the meeting, President Isaias also gave extensive briefings to questions from participants of the meeting.
