57 students graduate from Asmara Music School

A total of 57 students graduated in certificate and diploma from Asmara Music School on the mastery of instruments such as piano, saxophone,  flute, trumpet, drums, violin, guitar and clarinet. Reports indicated that 4 out of the graduates attended 5-year training, while 14 others have been engaged in 3-year training, besides those who kept track of an 18-month training course. Asmara, 14 July 2012 – A total of 57 students graduated in certificate and diploma from Asmara Music School on the mastery of instruments such as piano, saxophone,  flute, trumpet, drums, violin, guitar and clarinet. Reports indicated that 4 out of the graduates attended 5-year training, while 14 others have been engaged in 3-year training, besides those who kept track of an 18-month training course.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Elias Woldegebriel, director of the school, pointed out that the role of music is vital in cultural renaissance and peoples’ civilization, and that the graduating batch should strive for consistently expanding their knowledge and experience.

Mr. Woldesilasie Ogbazgi, Administration head in the Education Ministry’s Cultural Affairs department, equally voiced conviction that music has been playing an obvious role in popularizing national goals such as development programs and cultural renaissance.

Asmara Music School is graduating students in certificate and diploma for the 10th time.
