The participants of the 5th National Youth Festival in Sawa expressed satisfaction with the creative work exhibition that adequately depicted the promising potential among Eritrean youths. Sawa, 14 July 2012 – The participants of the 5th National Youth Festival in Sawa expressed satisfaction with the creative work exhibition that adequately depicted the promising potential among Eritrean youths.

Some of the software programs staged in connection with the event are city busses’ control system, wording and grammar checkup for Tigrinya language, website development and photofinishing, reports indicated.

One of the participants, Mr. Gebrehiwet Rusom, voiced conviction that the stage Eritrean youths have reached as regards research and innovative works is remarkable. He further pointed out that youths are exploiting the all-round opportunities accorded them, and called on the people and Government to develop creative works.

Such creative and pioneering works attest to the Eritrean youths’ competence in all domains, Hashim Idris said. Haben Solomon, who developed the Tigrinya language’s word and grammar checkup software along with 5 colleagues, indicated that their hope is that it could be helpful to Tigrinya writers.

The Festival would conclude tomorrow.
