Association for Families of Martyrs in Tebeldia extends commendable assistance to members

The Association for Families of Martyrs in Tebeldia Administrative area, Goluj sub-zone, extended monetary aid to its members, besides provision of select seeds. Goluj, 17 July 2012 – The Association for Families of Martyrs in Tebeldia Administrative area, Goluj sub-zone, extended monetary aid to its members, besides provision of select seeds.

Reports indicate that the Association which was established in 2005 by affluent local inhabitants presently carries out rain-fed agricultural activities in 36 hectares, and that it has annually been providing Association members with such support every summer.

Among the members of families of martyrs, Ms. Asha Ibrahim and Ms. Alganesh Kesete, indicated that such initiatives attest to the citizenry’s readiness to honor the trust of martyrs, and further commended the regular support being extended to them by the Government.

Ms. Seida Seud Idris on her part pointed out that she is in a position to obtain substantial harvests every year in line with the support provided by the Association.

Mr. Abdalla Yusuf, Administrator of Tebeldia Administrative area, said that such initiatives are deep rooted in the Eritrean culture.

The Association for Families of Martyrs in Tebeldia Administrative area serves 70 families of fallen heroes, according to reports.
