Participants of 5th National Youth Festival undertake afforestation activities in Af-Himbol

The participants of the 5th National Youth Festival from inside the country and abroad carried out afforestation activities in Af-Hilbol area. Reports indicated that around 1,000 tree seedlings have been planted through the undertaking.

Af-Himbol, 19 July 2012 – The participants of the 5th National Youth Festival from inside the country and abroad carried out afforestation activities in Af-Hilbol area. Reports indicated that around 1,000 tree seedlings have been planted through the undertaking.

Mr. Gergis Girmai, Administrator of Anseba region, said that the undertaking attests to the strong bond between the citizenry and the country.

Ms. Elsa Mezengi’e and Mr. Abraha Niguse, who reside in Italy and Sweden expressed satisfaction with taking part in the task, and called on citizens to enhance participation in such endeavors.

The inhabitants of Af-Himbol lauded the initiative.
