A total of 117 students graduated in degree and diploma from the College of Arts and Social Science in the fields of History, Archaeology, Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as Social Science. The graduation ceremony was held at the College’s Hall in Adi-Keih and the graduation batch consisted of 72 degree holders and 45 in diploma.
Adi-Keih, 20 July 2012 – A total of 117 students graduated in degree and diploma from the College of Arts and Social Science in the fields of History, Archaeology, Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as Social Science. The graduation ceremony was held at the College’s Hall in Adi-Keih and the graduation batch consisted of 72 degree holders and 45 in diploma.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Semere Rusom, Minister of Education, said that the Government has been making substantial investment in reinforcing the country’s professional capacity, and called on the graduating batch to serve the people with dedication.
Dr. Ogbagebriel Beraki, Dean of the college, pointed out that as there exist a number of historical and archaeological sites in the area where the college is located, students have got a basis to integrate theoretical and practical studies. He further indicated that the nation has already registered remarkable accomplishment as regards human resource redevelopment.
A representative of the graduating batch on his part asserted that they would enhance participation in national development endeavors.
The present graduates constitute the fifth batch.
