Association of Lorry owners in Anseba and Gash-Barka regions reportedly rendering commendable service
The Association of Lorry Owners in Anseba and Gash-Barka regions stated that it has been rendering commendable transport service in the areas between Omhajer and Krora since its establishment in 2010. It made the remarks at its second conference.
Tesenei, 21 July 2012 – The Association of Lorry Owners in Anseba and Gash-Barka regions stated that it has been rendering commendable transport service in the areas between Omhajer and Krora since its establishment in 2010. It made the remarks at its second conference.
Mr. Idris Nafi’e, chairman of the Association, said that it has 402 members, and that endeavors are being exerted to extend service to more remote areas. Similarly, Mr. Adem Abdalla, the Association’s secretary, pointed out that a considerable accomplishment has been made as regards transportation to outlying areas.
Stating that lorries are in widespread use in both Administrative regions, Mr. Teklebirhan Gebrewold, Administrator of Tesenei sub-zone, called on the Association to ensure effectiveness in transport service vis-à-vis traffic safety.
The Association members voiced satisfaction with working in an association, and said that they would step up endeavors to ensure quality service.
