Members of the 26th round National Service left for Sawa Training Center to attend 12th grade education and fulfill national service. Parents and friends were also present at the time the students left.

Asmara, 23 July 2012 – Members of the 26th round National Service left for Sawa Training Center to attend 12th grade education and fulfill national service. Parents and friends were also present at the time the students left.

Out of the students, Furtuna Bokretsion and Aron Haile indicated that they have been making all-round preparation for the one-year stay in Sawa, and that psychological preparation and adequate individual effort are the key prerequisites for success. Sawa is not only a basis for academic and vocational training but also for nurturing physical, moral and social capabilities, they added.

Similarly, Abdu Mohammed and Fatuma Mohammed from the port city of Assab, explained that the training center provides an environment of mutual understanding and vision, and that they would enhance endeavors to achieve success in all activities.

Among parents, Mr. Kahsai Rusom and Ms. Zemzem Ibrahim voiced appreciation for members of the current national service round upon demonstrating spirit of determination to keep intact national values. They further called on parents to enhance their motivational role up to the end.

Reports indicate that members of the 26th round National Service are 19,000.
