Adomzemat inhabitants express readiness to back up development projects

The inhabitants of Adomzemat, Gala-Nefhi sub-zone, voiced readiness to back up integrated development projects under implementation in the locality. They made the pledge on the occasion of the inauguration of a new asphalt road, the impact of which is believed to be vital in promoting development activities in the area. Lt. Colonel Haileab Woldeab, chairman of the village’s development committee, pointed out that the construction of the 25 Km-long road, along the sides of which tiesa land would be distributed soon for the construction of residential buildings, is vital for the development of the locality. The setting up of potable water supply facility and mill is underway, besides the ongoing electrification process of the entire village, he added.

Mr. Solomon Haile, Administrator of Gala-Nefhi sub-zone, called on the inhabitants of Adomzemat to step up endeavors to exploit the village’s strategic location in relation with the new asphalt road.

Among the inhabitants, Rev. Mengisteab Woldu, Mr. Gebremichael Kifletsion, Ms. Hana Abraha and Mr. Fisehaye Yohannes said that they would play significant role in the development of the locality, and lauded the village’s development committee for playing active role in organizing popular participation in various development tasks.

Adomzemat village is inhabited by 1,150 people.
