Hagaz, 28 July 2012 – The Administration of Hagaz semi-urban center indicated that endeavors are underway to enhance the distribution of the semi-urban center’s potable water supply through SWP.
Mr. Haile Gebremedhin, head of potable water supply in the semi-urban center, said that 1 Km-long water pipeline has been put up, and that the task is in progress.
Participants of the undertaking voiced satisfaction with participating in the semi-urban center’s development process, and lauded the motivational role of mothers in it.
Mr. Eyob Tesfai, forestry expert in the Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Hagaz sub-zone, pointed out that considerable accomplishments are being registered in the locality as regards soil and water conservation in line with the SWP.
The inhabitants of Hagaz semi-urban center expressed conviction that the initiative would ensure effective exploitation of the available potable water supply facility.
Mr. Tekleab Berhane, one of the SWP coordinators in the locality, lauded the active participation of students in the task.
