During a meeting conducted with women inhabitants of Hagaz it was indicated that the prevalence of malaria is reducing in the sub-zone. Hagaz, 29 July 2012- During a meeting conducted with women inhabitants of Hagaz it was indicated that the prevalence of malaria is reducing in the sub-zone.
In the meeting it was disclosed that women in Hagaz are enthusiastically participating in family and environment sanitation programs thanks to the rigorous awareness campaigns made.
Mr. Gebremeskel Gebrehiwot, head of Ministry of Health branch office, reminded the inhabitants to reinforce participation in the efforts being conducted to control the prevalence of malaria from the country.
Participants on their part appreciated the efforts made to control the prevalence of malaria and expressed resolve to strengthen participation in controlling communicable diseases that come as a result of lack of sanitation and especially malaria.
