The 17 Km-long Mogoraib-Adebrhim route across Dige sub-zone has been asphalted at Government expenditure. Pointing out that the former dirt road used to cause delays and inconveniences especially during the rainy season, the local inhabitants said that such development accomplishment would considerably foster socio-economic activities in the area through ensuring fast transportation. Dige, 31 July 2012 – The 17 Km-long Mogoraib-Adebrhim route across Dige sub-zone has been asphalted at Government expenditure. Pointing out that the former dirt road used to cause delays and inconveniences especially during the rainy season, the local inhabitants said that such development accomplishment would considerably foster socio-economic activities in the area through ensuring fast transportation.
Mr. Kerar Idris, Mr. Idris Ata Ahmed and Mr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the asphalting of the road, the impact of which would be vital in facilitating implementation of development programs.
Mr. Hintsa’ab Woldu, head of economic development in Dige sub-zone, said that the road is also of a great importance to farmers in Mogoraib, Adebrhim and Tekreriet where extensive irrigation farming is in progress.
