A number of women citizens from the Diaspora made a tour of historical sites in Senafe sub-zone such as Belew Kelew, Metera, Kohaito, Demhina and the semi-urban center of Serha. They expressed satisfaction with the sightseeing, and said that such exposure is vital in the discernment of national values.
Senafe, 31 July 2012 – A number of women citizens from the Diaspora made a tour of historical sites in Senafe sub-zone such as Belew Kelew, Metera, Kohaito, Demhina and the semi-urban center of Serha. They expressed satisfaction with the sightseeing, and said that such exposure is vital in the discernment of national values.
Ms. Lidia Abai, Ms. Genet Teklehaimanot and Ms. Azeb Asfaha voiced appreciation for the various development accomplishments they observed on their way to the historical sites. Ms. Asefash Araya lauded the hospitality of Serha inhabitants, and said that there exists a strong bond between the nationals abroad and the Homeland.
At a briefing session headed by Mr. Berhane Mengesha, Administrator of Senafe sub-zone, it was stated that development programs implemented in the locality attest to the Government’s conviction of self-reliance, and that the livelihood of the inhabitants has considerably been improved in line with the development accomplishments.
