The inhabitants of Tekreriet Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that their livelihood has visibly been improved thanks to the putting in place of various social service facilities, the impact of which as regards promoting community-based style of living has also become vital. They indicated that they are already in a position of enjoying educational, health, potable water supply, mobile telephone and transportation facilities. Dige, 1 August 2012 – The inhabitants of Tekreriet Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that their livelihood has visibly been improved thanks to the putting in place of various social service facilities, the impact of which as regards promoting community-based style of living has also become vital. They indicated that they are already in a position of enjoying educational, health, potable water supply, mobile telephone and transportation facilities.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Adem Saleh and Ms. Kedija Sheikh Ali said that they are exerting endeavors towards ensuring efficient utilization of the facilities.
Mr. Mohammed Osman Mohammed, Administrator of the locality, further pointed out that a number of inhabitants are carrying out active irrigation farming activities on the basis of association along the banks of Barka River, and that such activity has fostered socio-economic activities in the area.
