Social service facilities in Dase Administrative area ensure improvement of people’s livelihood

The inhabitants of Dase Administrative area said that their livelihood has visibly been improved thanks to the putting in place of basic social service facilities. The inhabitants explained that they have become beneficiaries of educational, health, potable water supply and other facilities. Dase, 7 August 2012 – The inhabitants of Dase Administrative area said that their livelihood has visibly been improved thanks to the putting in place of basic social service facilities. The inhabitants explained that they have become beneficiaries of educational, health, potable water supply and other facilities.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Ibrahim Musa and Ms. Hanna Adana pointed out that availability of basic social service facilities in the locality attests to the Government’s commitment to promote development in the rural areas, and voiced satisfaction with the services being rendered by the facilities. Likewise, Mr. Siena Katabe and Mr. Adem Achu said that a growing trend has been noticed pertaining to student registration.

Mr. Tsehaye Gebregziabher, head of the health station in Dase, said that it is rendering child immunization, prenatal and antenatal care, as well as VCT and organizing seminar, in addition to outpatient service.

Mr. Abdalla Marco, Administrator of Dase Administrative area, called on the local inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of the available social service facilities.
