Stating that precautious mechanisms should be implemented to halt any possibility of malaria prevalence in line with the heavy showers, Mr. Gebru Zeru, head of the health center in Haikota, called on community health workers and Area administrators to demonstrate the necessary dedication in the process. Likewise, Mr. Teklebirhan Teklezgi, head of environmental hygiene in the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to apply appropriate use of mosquito nets and give more caring attention to pregnants and under-one-year babies.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding various issues.
