Education Ministry implementing programs with a view to registering still better achievement: Report
The Ministry of Education said that it is implementing new programs with a view to registering still greater achievement in the next academic year. It made the statement at an annual assessment meeting of regional offices that was conducted from 14 to 15 August.
Asmara, 17 August 2012 – The Ministry of Education said that it is implementing new programs with a view to registering still greater achievement in the next academic year. It made the statement at an annual assessment meeting of regional offices that was conducted from 14 to 15 August.
The meeting noted that further achievements are expected to be registered in line with the implementation of the programs charted and endeavors being exerted towards enhancing human resource, capacity, in addition to facilities and infrastructure. It further noted the need to address some prevailing quandaries.
Mr. Semere Rusom, Minister of Education, explained that the Government is taking well-studied strategic measures with a view to building human resource capacity.
The participants of the meeting held discussion as regards extending the capacity of libraries and laboratories, grade review for the matriculation examinations and the enhancement of student participation in vocational schools, among others.
