Preparations finalized for Festival 2012 in Central region

The National Holidays Coordinating Committee in the Central region said that preparations have been finalized for the Festival 2012 in the region due to take place from 25 August to 2 September at Expo grounds.

Asmara, 17 August 2012 – The National Holidays Coordinating Committee in the Central region said that preparations have been finalized for the Festival 2012 in the region due to take place from 25 August to 2 September at Expo grounds.

Mr. Endirias Asmerom, Secretary of the committee, indicated that the Administration and inhabitants of the region have made ample preparations to host the current festival, and that different businesses, as well as institutions are ready to take part in bazaars, exhibitions and service rendering.

Mr. Tesfalem Misgina from Tiravolo Administrative area disclosed that there exists a spirit of competition among Administrative areas of the capital as regards organizing different activities such as cultural and artistic shows, Administrative area camps, in addition to traditional and modern sports contests.

Mr. Endirias explained on his part that more than 40 organizations would open sales spots at the expo center, and called on them to sell their products at fair price and provide the required service.
