Agordat, 18 August 2012 – The regional Administration of Gash-Barka organized a training course for new staff members in collaboration with the Ministry of Education with a view to ensuring effective management system. Reports indicate that beneficiaries of the training are members of the 22nd and 23rd, as well as 24th National Service.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony conducted in Agordat town, Mr. Minasie Kidane, one of the resource persons, indicated that the two-month training focused on theoretical knowledge regarding Accounting, Human and Material Management, Secretarial Science, as well as Documentation and Archiving. The trainees are expected to undergo 4-month on-the-job training, he added.
Mr. Berhane Gebru, head of human resource development in the regional Administration, called on the beneficiaries of the training to further build their capacities on individual basis and serve the people with dedication.
A representative of the trainees lauded the opportunity accorded them, and said that they would demonstrate commitment in their respective careers.
