Adequate educational supplies being distributed to all administrative regions: Ministry

The Ministry of Education said that adequate educational supplies are being distributed at reasonable price to all administrative regions in line with the preparation for the next academic year.

Asmara, 20 August 2012 – The Ministry of Education said that adequate educational supplies are being distributed at reasonable price to all administrative regions in line with the preparation for the next academic year.

Mr. Gebreyohanes Hagos, director general of Administration and Finance in the Ministry, explained that distribution of the supplies began on August 15 in the Central and Southern regions, and that the process would soon get underway in the other Administrative regions. He further indicated that the Ministry has made stock of the supplies.

Mr. Gebreyohanes further called on the citizenry to extend a helping hand in preventing any possibility of unwarranted profit by merchandizing businesses on the basis of the reasonable prices.
