Projects in Hagaz implemented

Most of the projects that have been designed to develop Hagaz town and improve the livelihood of the people have been implemented, the town administration disclosed during a meeting it conducted with members of the town council and heads of different branches of line ministries. Hagaz, 21 August 2012- Most of the projects that have been designed to develop Hagaz town and improve the livelihood of the people have been implemented, the town administration disclosed during a meeting it conducted with members of the town council and heads of different branches of line ministries.

The Administrator of the town, Mr. Tiumzgi Yohannes indicated that the projects include distribution of land plots for residential houses, soil and water conservation, building of school, as well as overseeing services by owners of service providing institutions, and that 191 citizens have been provide with plots of land for residential houses and new water pipes have been distributed to household.

Mr. Idris Mohammed Hamid, Administrator of Hagaz sub-zone, noted the importance of evaluating the implementation of projects designed and that the distribution of social service provision institutions, development of human resources as well as activities for ensuring food security would continue.

The participants on their part called for the preservation of trees that are in good condition and the strengthening of the ongoing soil and water conservation programs.
