Eritrean family residing in USA extends 120,000 Nakfa in support of war-disabled veterans

Eritrean family members residing in Boston, USA, extended 120,000 Nakfa in support of war-disabled veterans.

Asmara, 24 August 2012 – Eritrean family members residing in Boston, USA, extended 120,000 Nakfa in support of war-disabled veterans.

The pair, Mr. Tesfatsion Tesfamariam and Ms. Adiam Solomon said that they have been extending such support since 1996, and that the present donation was raised in connection with Ms. Adiam’s graduation ceremony. This is just meant to create moral satisfaction to us, she said.

They further expressed appreciation for the Government’s commitment to improve the livelihood of war-disabled veterans, and called on the citizenry to enhance contribution to this end.
