Festival in Central region adequately depicting cultural and national values, Say participants

The participants of the Festival in the Central region said that it is adequately depicting cultural and national values vis-à-vis the prevalence of harmony among the people. Stating that the Festival has portrayed the region’s resources along with its cultural and historical background, they explained that such occasion is vital in popularizing the nation’s development drive which has become auspicious.

Asmara, 27 August 2012 – The participants of the Festival in the Central region said that it is adequately depicting cultural and national values vis-à-vis the prevalence of harmony among the people. Stating that the Festival has portrayed the region’s resources along with its cultural and historical background, they explained that such occasion is vital in popularizing the nation’s development drive which has become auspicious.

Among the participants, Mr. Gebrehiwet Tesfai, Mr. Tewolde Misgina and Filmawit Amanuel expressed satisfaction with the different activities, and voiced conviction that the preservation of values is the basis for the overall success of the nation.

Mr. Mohammed Hazot and Ms. Haregu Kiflemariam on their part commended the active participation of the inhabitants of the region in the event.

The Festival which opened on 25 August would continue until September 2.
