Health camp at Central region Festival portraying progress in the health sector

A number of participants of the Festival in the Central region said that the health camp at the Festival is adequately portraying progress in the health sector and the investment made by the Government to this end. They further expressed deep impression with the health activities staged at the festival such as the production process of locally made medicines vis-à-vis the manner they were displayed targeting audiences of all age levels.

Asmara, 29 August 2012 – A number of participants of the Festival in the Central region said that the health camp at the Festival is adequately portraying progress in the health sector and the investment made by the Government to this end. They further expressed deep impression with the health activities staged at the festival such as the production process of locally made medicines vis-à-vis the manner they were displayed targeting audiences of all age levels.

Rev. Fisehaye Haile and Mr. Idris Omar from the villages of Adi-Bidel and Dirfo respectively asserted that such accomplishment in the health sector attests to the nation’s bright future, and lauded the endeavors being exerted against social stigmas emanating from health issues such as mental illness.

The event is a good opportunity to introduce the public with the range of our products and raise awareness as regards preservation of medicines, Mr. Yonatan Gebrehiwet from Azel Pharmaceutical Factory, explained.

Ms. Amna Adem, a psychologist, similarly voiced conviction that the festival is a good basis to obtain the desired feedback from the general public regarding illnesses demanding psycho-therapy.

Reports indicated that the health camp depicted maternity, radiology, ophthalmic, dentistry, psychiatric and others, besides the exhibitions staged by Azel Pharmaceutical Factory and the National Blood Bank, among others.
