Children’s camp in Central region Festival vital in children’s all-round development, Say participants

The participants of the Central region Festival said that the children camp there is vital in their all-round development.

Asmara, 31 August 2012 – The participants of the Central region Festival said that the children camp there is vital in their all-round development.

Among the participants, Mr. Fiseha Asmelash and Ms. Abun Mebrahtom voiced conviction that the activities staged in the Festival targeting children are significant in upgrading children’s mind dynamics, and called on parents to make use of such exposure for children.

Mr. Efrem Zere from the organizers of the festival pointed out that the camp focused on educational materials and activities that employ entertainment techniques. Among the children Abel Ermias and Rahel Tesfai expressed satisfaction with computer-based learning materials in the camp.

Reports indicate that the camp has staged health programs, cultural shows and painting contest, besides the exhibitions displayed by children from inside the country and Australia as regards educational developments in both countries.
