Community representatives from Northern Red Sea region laud development accomplishments in Gash-Barka region
Community representatives from the Northern Red Sea region said that development programs being accomplished in Gash-Barka region are a springboard to a bright future. They made the compliment during an excursion in the region during which they observed water reservoirs, bridges, asphalt roads and factories, besides several agricultural infrastructures and social service facilities. Tesenei, 6 September 2012 – Community representatives from the Northern Red Sea region said that development programs being accomplished in Gash-Barka region are a springboard to a bright future. They made the compliment during an excursion in the region during which they observed water reservoirs, bridges, asphalt roads and factories, besides several agricultural infrastructures and social service facilities.
Among the participants of the excursion, Mr. Mohammed Geider, Administrator of Bordeli Administrative area, and Ms. Meryem Ibrahim, inhabitant of Gelalo, indicated that such development accomplishments attest to the nation’s capacity to this end, and called on the citizenry to judiciously utilize the unfolding opportunities.
Mr. Abdu Faha Mohammed, inhabitant of Dahlak sub-zone, Mr. Saleh Ibrahim and Mohammed Saleh voiced conviction that Gash-Barka region is witnessing major agricultural farming activities vis-à-vis expanding agro-industrial projects, and that such pursuits would play vital role in strengthening the national economy.
