Visitors to Mai-W’uy Hot Springs call on the Tourism Ministry to put in place the necessary facilities in the area
A number of nationals visiting Mai-W’uy Hot Springs, Ginda sub-zone, called on the Ministry of Tourism to put in place the necessary facilities in the area with a view to enhancing domestic tourism.
Ginda, 6 September 2012 – A number of nationals visiting Mai-W’uy Hot Springs, Ginda sub-zone, called on the Ministry of Tourism to put in place the necessary facilities in the area with a view to enhancing domestic tourism.
Reports indicate that the hot springs are visited by numerous people from inside the country and abroad on account of their medical value.
Mr. kibreab Haile and Mr. Bahta Zerizgi explained that they have visited the hot springs 40 years ago, and that the launching of new tourism institutions would attract significant number of new visitors.
Mr. Ali Yasin Moya and Mr. Adem Hamd, members of the managing committee of Mai-W’uy Hot Springs, pointed out that the site was visited by more than 50,000 people in the past 2 months.
