The Southern Red Sea Administration extended monetary award to students who passed the current Matriculation Examination. Assab, 10 September 2012 – The Southern Red Sea Administration extended monetary award to students who passed the current Matriculation Examination.
Mr. Ali Mahmoud, the regional Administrator, called on the students to use the success as a springboard to further career triumph.
Among the students, Feven Tesfai, Musa Mohammed, Ahmed Ali and Lula Gebre lauded the award accorded them at regional level, and said that they would work hard in their studies. They further commended the Government’s commitment to expand free educational opportunities nationwide and equally foster student zeal.
Mr. Otban Mohammed from the Education Ministry’s branch in the region called for the sustainability of such initiatives that reinforce motivational impetus among students.
Among parents of the students, Mr. Zeru Tesfamariam and Ms. Kedija Omar voiced conviction that the free and equitable educational opportunities in the country attest to the Government’s commitment in improving the livelihood of citizens.
