Tiesa land has been distributed to 368 natives of Dirko, Mihyaw and Adi-Koraya villages in Emni-Haili sub-zone. Emni-Haili, 11 September 2012 – Tiesa land has been distributed to 368 natives of Dirko, Mihyaw and Adi-Koraya villages in Emni-Haili sub-zone.

Mr. Tesfamichael Gebremeskel from the sub-zonal Administration pointed out that distribution of the land plots for residential and business purpose in the 3 villages was implemented following the mapping of a master plan.

Mr. Kidane Teklimariam, head of branch office of the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment in the sub-zone, explained that the beneficiaries of tiesa land are natives residing inside the country and abroad who fulfilled the necessary requirements.

Among the beneficiaries, Mr. Mohammed Aman, Ms. Kedija Adem and Ms. Kidisti Araya voiced conviction that construction on the basis of the land plots would meet housing demand, besides the fact that it would foster development of the locality. They further commended the active role of the tiesa land distribution committee.

Reports indicate that the majority of the land plots distributed for business purposes in the sub-zone have been put under construction.
