Over 400 new staff members of the Administration of the Central region are attending training courses involving the theoretical and practical aspects of property management, archiving, basic computer applications, plumbing and driving, besides woodwork and metalwork. Asmara, 21 September 2012 – Over 400 new staff members of the Administration of the Central region are attending training courses involving the theoretical and practical aspects of property management, archiving, basic computer applications, plumbing and driving, besides woodwork and metalwork.
Stating that this year’s plan has targeted organizing training for more than 900 youth staff, Mr. Suleiman Yusuf, director of human resource development department in the Administration, indicated that around 200 youths have already completed a training course as regards digital library management, tourism and law. He further pointed out that over 300 new staff members have been nominated for new training course.
Among the resource persons, Mr. Kidane Mulugeta explained that the training course is crucial in building the production capacity of the youths, and called on them to adequately equip themselves with experience and serve the people with dedication.
Out of the beneficiaries of the training, Rozina Habte, Samuel Mulugeta, Petros Eyob and Nejla Ismail said that such opportunity attests to the government’s endeavors to equip youths in all dimensions, and that they are working hard to exploit the opportunity accorded them at government expenditure.
