Cultivated crops in Dige sub-zone in good state: Report

The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone indicated that crops cultivated during the rainy season are in good state. Dige, 26 September 2012 – The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone indicated that crops cultivated during the rainy season are in good state.

Mr. Dawit Berhane, head of the branch office, explained that various crops have been cultivated on 5,000 hectares.

Among the farmers, Mr. Ali Ismail, indicated that such accomplishment could be made thanks to their timely effort pertaining to the preparation of farmland and follow-up vis-à-vis the commendable rainfall witnessed in the locality.

They also stated that they anticipate bountiful harvest.
